For all the operators in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and the panhandle of West Virginia, the Butler (PA) County Amateur Radio Association will be holding a 2 Meter simplex contest on Saturday April 23, 2016 from 1800-2200 EDT (2200-0200 UTC).

The contest is only 4 hours long and on 4 specific simplex frequencies from the ARRL Band Plan. For this contest, we will use only these 4 frequencies with a convenient 15 kHz separation.

Valid Contest Frequencies are: 146.550, 146.565, 146.580, 146.595 (Notice the 146.520 is not to be used as it is the National Calling Frequency)

This is the first adventure of the club into the contest world, especially hosting any type of contest, so please be patient with us in the new endeavor.

Full contest rules and contest log can be downloaded at: http://www.w3udx.org/activites.htm
