    Doesn't change my opinion about it. Pisses me off when I think I'm talking to X when it's really somewhere in my neighborhood. No biggie...

    Well, I obtained W4ZD while living in Colorado. Would have picked a zero call had one been available. Then, of course, I would have a zero district callsign living in 4-land. Given the current system, et al, I just look up someone's call sign here to find out where they are located. Not a biggie, and surely not more than a gnat's butt of an inconvenience. :p

    I'm with WZ7U, but for a different reason. IMHO, it contributes to 1x2 and 2x1 churn. Folks get an out of district vanity call and then when they get on the air, they realize their mistake.
