Hi Jeff! Just what the doctor ordered! I'm moving house (hopefully!) shortly, and will then be mainly /P and /M, rather than home-based (also avoids the disappointment of a huge investment rendered worthless by someone installing PV, Wifi, electric fences, etc, etc, next door!)

Give me a bell when you want to try a sked. I have various loops to deploy!

As for gain - you may like the results I obtained with simple wires here, comparing coast with slightly inland:

    Catch you soon!

    J.

Roger, John---will do once I get back here and try 20 meters first. I might be able to get my big 40m loop over to the island on my trailer hitch carrier, strapped to part of my car's roof rack if I am careful.

Either way, I have 100 watts ssb at the ready and will look forward to some Texas<>Wales experiments this summer. I love trying to make Marconi more proud, even posthumously. :D

    73,

    Jeff
