    All this interesting reading, but I think something that needs adressed and caused some to be confused abt content in earlier
    posts, is the simple fact that most FL2100 amps that I am aware of can be wired for various services both new* and old as follows.
    110V
    117V
    220V
    234V
    In other words don't wire for 240/250V using the twin 110V taps or you will be running in excess of 2600++B and
    some over the 6.3V +/-5% recomended filiment voltage rating of a 572B tube.
