Has anyone done this? I have an Icom 7000 with the LDG IT-100 tuner.

I am fixing to take the test for my General so I hope to be on the HF bands soon.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Not with an LDG IT-100 tuner. The reason is, it just doesn't have the necessary range. Opt instead for the Icom AH-4. By the way, there are other considerations, not the least of which is high RF voltages—as high as 10 kV!

If you want to know more, go to my web site, and read the Auto-Coupler article.
