100 Watts and a Wire: Episode 83

How is a 49 year absence? Very Long! First licensed, Novice, in 1956; Conditional in 1957: no renewal because of no operating time in 1962. Back with an Amateur Extra Class (passed all three exams at one time, in sequence, of course). Took longer to for exam graders than for me to take them! BACK ON THE AIR IN 2011. Fantastic to return to equipment, TS-590s, with such amazing performance and capabilities. Having great fun working toward DXCC. CW coming (at age 77). 73, Dave

 

since 9 pm......fell asleep in my chair.....most i was off the air was 6 months,because of moving,but still had my hf/vhf,uhf mobile. so now I have everything in my mobile as I have at home plus a yeasu vx 6. I do more mobile hf and vhf than at home.Did do all that at home for many years and now time for a change. As far as I know, I'm the only complete hf,vhf,uhf mobile digital station in Vermont. I'll take my GRAMMY AWARD now please. thank you. de KA1BSZ/M.
