I'm a little concerned that they don't require any documentation, so just anybody can buy their radio that way. It sounds like they at least try to discourage Freebanders, though I suspect not very rigorously.

You should save the crystals with the cut green wire in a safe place.

 

We had a KWM-2A in the radio van that had a 15077.500 crystal installed.
