A flawless on-the-air membership meeting was conducted by Chris Clark president of The Amateur Radio Club of Augusta (ARCA), Georgia because the club canceled its regular Tuesday, March 17, 2020 monthly membership meeting due to health considerations.

ARCA sponsors a nightly 8 p.m. two-meter net on the club's 145.490 MHz wide-coverage repeater. After formal check-ins there is a "ragchew" session referred to as "regular time." On March 17 Chris chaired a club meeting that lasted 30 minutes. The meeting included brief reports from several board members and about 15 minutes of general discussion. There were a total of 40 Amateur Radio operators check-ins during the hour-long net operation.

As most organizations cancel meetings and consider such alternatives as audio and video teleconferences, Amateur Radio's inherent communications advantage was a natural choice for the conduct of the meeting. Expanded use of the nightly net "gathering" via Amateur Radio will be utilized during this health crisis period. The club operates four VHF and one UHF repeater covering a wide area often referred to as the "Central Savannah River Area" of Eastern Georgia and Western South Carolina.

We don't have a readily accessible ham-radio based shared whiteboard that I can think of. Would that be a neat project?
