Roger that - now copying K3ZA in SE PA in QSO with W4BCX in FL in 700D mode on 14236 Khz.

Good clear copy on Tony. Can only get a few bits now and then from the FL station, as to be expected. Too bad a PY on analog SSB doing a contest stroked up right on frequency now, but Tony's signal still dominates. Quite interesting.

I am a novice on FreeDV, so took me awhile to figure out what mode. Is 700D the de facto standard at the moment or ???

700D works better I think, and is a little narrower.

I am hearing a few stations, but they are all below S4, and some are pretty weak and garbled. All sound like they are on the East coast - FL and CT right now.
