Just received - The Hamvention Executive Committee has been monitoring the COVID19 pandemic. We have worked very closely with our local and state health Departments. It is with a very heavy heart the Hamvention Executive Committee has decided to cancel Hamvention for this year. This decision is extremely difficult for us but with around two months until the Great Gathering we felt this action necessary. That sucks! Couldnt we have waited a bit longer before making this decision? I get that there is a lot of prep and such, but just give people a heads up that cancelation will be under consideration for the next few weeks and lets see what happens... In two months this virus may be near a complete non issue, who knows.

Looks like if Dayton was still on we'd get rained out again! Lots of rain in the forecast. I"ll just stay inside and play radio . . .
My wife and I are still going. Need to break this cabin fever some how. There is a really great network of bicycle riding trails there. One trail goes right through the fairgrounds.
