The Wisconsin Valley Radio Association has begun a weekly discussion net on 75 meters.  The net is scheduled for Tuesdays at 9 p.m. CST (Wednesdays, 0300 UTC).  The net will try to meet at a frequency of 3.975 MHz, but due to the heavy usage of 75 meters, the actual frequency may vary by 20 or more Khz.  All amateurs with appropriate privileges are welcome on the net.

The net is an informal discussion roundtable.  We especially welcome our fellow amateurs from around Wisconsin to join us.  If you are a member of a local club, we would be most interested in hearing about the activities at your club.  If you are joining us from a location outside of Central Wisconsin, please do not hesitate give signal reports to net members.  Because the net was started on a local basis, many people participate with reduced power and may need to QRO depending on your location.  We hope that you will stop by and check in often!

WVRA would like to thank Rich, N9MO and Jerry, W9GLG for getting this net started.  We would also like to thank Steve, KC9ANA and Rich, N9MO for acting as hosts and net controls.  The WVRA also sponsors regular VHF and UHF nets and we meet monthly in Wausau.  Details of meeting times, nets, repeaters and other WVRA activities can be found at our website: http://www.dwave.net/~wvra/
