Jim, I'm glad to see your comment about the Zumspot. I was going to purchase one about two years ago and for whatever reasons, it didn't happen. I was just looking them up again last week as I'm thinking about taking the plunge into DMR. I noticed that it appears the only Zum available now is the AMBE server? Also, as you know, it supports digital modes only so the Clearnode takes an edge over Zum for supporting analog and digital.

FYI, The PiHat fully assembled including the Pi4 is $195. Kits that you assemble yourself begin at $80.

The audio quality is excellent. If you use the ulaw codec, the other end of the QSO, won't even know you are on AllStar. As far as being able to listen on the internet, no there is really no way to do that. You can use a phone, or your computer to do AllStar, but you need to have a node running for that to work.
