Another season has come to an end and the Ratt Pack has traveled to other destinations. We had an awesome year and we had a sad year, we lost one of our own, Norm N7GGA/SK got ill in November and left us in December. Norm was not only part of the Ratt Pack but he was one of the key people that made Senator Wash what it is, he was a year round resident at the Christian Service Center and would talk to me on HF and say "better hurry up, you don't want to lose your spot". (It was July and 118F) N7GGA/SK de KB7TBT 73 .. We all enjoyed the Christmas Parade, Off Road Rides, Dog Burns and much more that takes place at #SenatorWash each week/year. All the people at the wash make a very large community and even have an Emergency Response Team on CH12 when things don't go as planed. We had 33 Ratt Pack'rs this year and many, many visitors. Not to be outdone the Ratt Pack'rs had our own share of "Nightlife" fun as well. Bonfires, birthday parties, cookouts, working mountain tops and spending time with good friends. Of course there were a few little events like #QuartzFest and The Yuma Hamfest that we all enjoyed very much. If you out in the Imperial Dam / Yuma area in the winter season, come on over, pull up a chair, grab a cold one.
