Ronald WB2AYV

Here's to Ronald Cichetti, WB2AYV technician class operator (with code).  He worked 6  & 2 meters AM mode from an apartment in Jersey City (the projects).  I did the same only from another building.

He passed on at least 25 years ago, but this was before computers and the internet where one could post such things as this.

Ronald was my next door neighbor, we grew up together, I dated his sister and we worked together at General Electric and got our ham tickets together.  He was unlucky in the fact at 22 years old, he had a stroke.  He survived this and had a second stroke a few years later that killed him.  Too young.

So, I just wanted people to know that he did exist and the calls "WB2AYV" were heard many times on the air.  He was never listed in QST as an SK so, I am officially posting it here in rememberance of him and telling the world, Ron (WB2AYV) is SK.
