I take a look at the New Explorer BackPack from Gigaparts. Its targeting POTA and SOTA completel load outs in a single bag. I am still testing the bag, so stayed tuned for a full review. Links: Gigaparts: https://www.gigaparts.com/nsearch/?lp=TANKRADIO
Shouldn't you release the video after you've used it for awhile and give us a decent review at that time?
Nah…. Got to get them clicks and views quick and in a hurry…besides who cares if the bag actually is good or not…got to keep those “gear givers” happy!
I thought that is what all the ham tubers identify as….. Did the video not “influence” you to buy the bag?
The bag looks pretty cool. Put 5 gold Krugerrands in it along with a 1911 in 45ACP, $10,000 in cash, a gold Rolex (used to be, one would get you a plane ticket from anywhere to anywhere -- don't fly with the 1911 ditch it first) and all your "papers," then it would make a good go bag.
I will have to look into that. Yes, thats why i didn't call it a review. I want to use the bag for a couple hikes and POTA activation before i did a complete review.
I have three of those bags, i love them. But they are for single purpose, Camera, G-90, CPAP machine. When POTAing, i ended up taking two or three bags. Its nice to have a all in one bag and something large enough for a laptop too. Its just another tool in our tool boxes. Now the fun change is to repurpose the old bags for.
Different bags for special hamradio activities outside. Nice to keep the own stuff together and safe. Equal if its shortwave POTA, satellite operations or digital experiments from 10M and up. Seems to be a good allrounder.
