Cuban Government Jamming 40 meter US HAM BAND

Wonder what motivates those who downplay the situation here? Ideology? Beats me why anyone would make excuses for how little play this has actually gotten.

Another day of jamming on the 40Meter Ham Band.

 

Your reality you mean? The facts you can choose to fit it as you wish. Lot of things like that in the world today.

All that comes from a lack of critical thought.

What we do know as fact in reality is the Cubans are suffering terribly and they are being opposed by a monolithic system. A system that is promoted from within our own system daily from those who think they know better than most.

And they have supporters who will defend this because they would be lost without the system. No matter what the system is as long as they are a part of it. You are not the contents of your wallet.

Just heard some jamming on 7.183 at 01:22 on 7/18/21 UTC. Looks like they're moving up the band now and listening for any talk about Cuba.

 

I guess moving the VFO dial up was an effective counter measure. For a while anyways.

 

Would you believe they turned off all repeaters on the island of Cuba.

 

Cuban people we are thinking about you and we want you to be happy and healthy.

 

I didn't have anyone e-mail on the west coast willing to be interviewed for this story. If so, there would have been a chance this story would have made it in the LA Times. And by story, I mean much of the story would focus specifically on the ham radio/jamming aspect.
