This was about today, drone operator for years but never really had the time to give it a go. It was pretty good experience and one weird thing I noticed by the end of the video, you will hear still operators on the radio but the antenna was all lied down on the ground. weird. Qsos are in spanish but you will get the idea.
950 miles to the CX station. I had the pile up when I had to land it. It was pretty cool for a first attempt. Make sure you leave a rope/paracord about 10 ft down then tie the antenna wire, that's how I did it and tie the paracord to the drone making sure to not block the landing sensors. 73
