Before you jump into the Ladder to do an antenna project make sure don't get too comfortable they are dangerous you can be severely damaged by fall; advice off W7HU Alex .it happens to me.

Alex, wishing you a speedy recover from your injuries. Always keep your ladders in good condition as well. My mom had an older wooden ladder where the 3rd step broke as she was climbing it. Shattered her shin bone just below the knee, not fun at all!

Your story is sad but I am sure you have prevented accidents and even maybe saved some lives by warning us to take care at all times on ladders and never to feel too confident.
