I understood the reference. I'm sure that others on this thread did, too. I was just suggesting that derogatory nicknames are not the best way to have a conversation between adults. I take it you didn't follow the links presented, or read the content? Is it wrong to take amateur radio, and its presentation to the general public, seriously, regardless of the forum?
I did want to take the time to recognize and express appreciation for the two individuals who contacted me privately either via e-mail or here on QRZ about volunteering. That was the original goal, after all. TNX ES 73, Paul, K3FU
