What is actually in the box? What do you get when you buy this thing? What else do you need to finish out your build? Take a look and hopefully this will answer some questions for you!

Power cord is also for the ability to read Peak Power, not just the light.

The box (brain) is empty. Please stop with these stupid useless videos. I can read the catolog and reviews on eham.

Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Very helpful in the purchase decision process.
If the unit was placed in one position on the working surface for at least 10 to 30 seconds for each view and some sort of pointer, even a pen or pencil, used to indicate the component(s) being addressed, the video would have even greater value.

My guess is an MFJ-267 Dry Dummy Load and Watt Meter.

I didn’t even have to waste my time watching this stupid video to figure that out.

Then perhaps you need to start making videos since you seem to have all the answers. There is always that one person...stop being that person.

I have one - it works great and the size is right for my application.

Only complaint - the switch to move from dummy load to antenna should be on the front of the device, not on the rear it would be more user friendly.

I had the exact same thought... upon opening the box I saw why it was that way... now my brain is thinking: "Can I put a relay in there and move the switch?" :dunno:

I have one. You need the power supply to use the meter. First of all All my gear is Tube Transmitters and Receivers. I have 2 Big Johnson's and a HeThkit DX-60. I use it to tune up my Trannsmitters. So I do not do it on the air. I'm like shim who do not! It is very useful for this. That is what I use it for because it can take high power sadly and just throw the switch to use the antenna. I am a AM only ham. No side band here. I sold my Collins Station a few months ago and never looked back.

I have one.. first thing to go was the diodes and choke in the meter circuitry ..Also, this thing frickin' stinks when you get the dummy load warm.
I got it for free, so I guess it's worth about what I paid for it.
