It's great fun. Almost every day I will monitor 10 Meters for a while and sure enough, something always pops through eventually. I've made some fun (but few) FT8 contacts on 10 Meters as of late.
You made the contacts? Or did your computer make the contactsfor you? And, what 'fun' subjects did you discuss during your contacts? Did you do any 'rag chewing?' Set it up, turn it on, and go do something else while the computer makes contacts for me is not fun.... Not in my opinion. I like to hear the other operator's voice or 'fist.' I like to say 'have fun and good luck.' I enjoy recording the contact in my Log Book myself. Of course 'error checking' is a bit slow. But, if you find that having your computer make contacts for you is fun, then I am very happy for you. At least you are OTA and making use of some band space... It's just not my cup of tea... Dan WQ4G
