One BIG SWR/Wattmeter!

I didn't think I would care for a SWR/Wattmeter that is so large, until I used it without reading glasses! This meter is, in my opinion, outstanding! Here is a little bit about the meter.... MFJ touts the MFJ-868B Giant SWR/Wattmeter as the World’s Largest HF SWR/Wattmeter. The MFJ-868B measures peak, average forward and reflected power and SWR It operates on 1.8-60 MHz. The MFJ-868B has three power scales, 20, 200 or 2000 watts. The MFJ-868B also has an easy to read 6.5-inch Single- Needle lighted meter.

I bought one, couldn't zero the meter out....had to return it

 

Yes, that's exactly what I need too

 

You could buy 2 and connect the second one in reverse.

 

I tried one, traded for a Daiwa. This MFJ is HUGE on the bench

 

I could even see it (with glasses on) So I went onto full screen and had to take my glasses off just to apreceate it. Nice one. 73 de John - G0WXU.

You don't see many configured like this; let alone the size.
In my shack I have a Hansen FS710H. I brought it new back in the early 1980's.
It's a bit similar 2Kw , probably a 5" screen, no backlight ,but I installed Leds.
It also Automatically reads SWR just by moving a switch...no adjusting.
I remember driving it back home on my Motorbike.
It's quite rare now, and a keeper for me. 73 Des
