    Mitch, Thanks. Unlike in USA, he has to wait till 14 to get the license. So he will follow me and learn the stuff till then. Most importantly CW and good operating practices. Yes 4S7KID would be a nice call.

    At first I myself thought that people fly on satellites. Until I was explained hi hi
    And the boy can try to download and install the program Hamsphere 3.0. A good simulator for the beginner. If you like the radio - get a license. My youngest sister appeared in Hamsphere at just six years old. The boy should get a chance to become a radio amateur! Good luck & 73!
