W3AZD Don Search

It is with much sadness that I must report the passing of our

good friend Don Search, W3AZD.

Don was a member of PVRC in Maryland, and an avid DX'er and he was a QCWA member.

He will be missed by the many friends he made over the years.

When arrangements are known, they will be posted on our

various amateur radio media.

RIP my friend of over 60 years

Don worked as Manager of the DXCC department at ARRL HQ in the 1970’s. I’m sure thousands of hams had some contact with Don concerning their DXCC certificate over those years. Pip WB4FDT
