The KA1BSZ DIGITAL station is back on the air. It has been off the air for about a month while purchasing a new computer,upgrading an older one with new siganlink interfaces,new programs and updated programs,with new batteries and serviced laptops. In addition to this complete maintenance of the station, a new long wire antenna has been installed at the home station as well as a new vertical. In the KA1BSZ mobile station there is a new computer and a power inverter to provide a pure sine wave and more stable voltage ( starting and shutting down the engine when recharging the battery ) and to provide more power outlets for items such as linear amplifier, another radio. All of which has cost a big chunk of money and it is worth it. every thing that was purchased was not cheap or cheaply made. Do things right the first time and you'll have many years of reliable communications.
