Woodstock - 50 years station active this weekend

We'll find a place among the crowds I'm sure. Both of our stations will be operating QRO from high elevations in the Catskill Mountains which is somewhat of an advantage over the NAQP monsters... ;-)

 

Well it won't be the usual 59/73 routine but we will try to keep it moving depending on the din of the pile if developed.

I don't think there was any Country & Western at Woodstock, was there? Why would there be now?

 

One of the high frequency bands, of course!

Think I'll wait until A6A; I didn't hear about Woodstock until it was over, but...

Altamont was a total blast for me (even though I was nearly trampled by the crowd during the "Sympathy For the Devil" fatal stabbing that evening and ran out of gas AND had a dead battery when I tried to leave afterwards. A long day and night that I'll always remember!
