coming soon for the next first months of 2019 the NEW anytone dualbander dmr radio AT-578UV VHF and UHF analogue and DMR 50 W VHF 45 W UHF 73 de IW2BSF - Rudy http://radioaficion.com/cms/anytone-at-d578uv/
a very little car radio .... with plus: - GPS and APRS - Roaming (like Motorola or Hytera radio ! ) - Microphone wireless by Bluetooth - nice display with black look - use the Codeplug by Anytone 868 / 878 handy !!!
yes... true have not the frontal panel detachable ! but GREAT notice anytone have a nice microphone via Bluetooth and that its great , 73
Separation would sure be nice. I would also like to see if the APRS is more in line with Kenwood Commands etc so send and receive Winlink messages etc !!! I see there is sms texting via Keyboard ?? Might that mean an external keyboard not a microphone pad. I will wait to see more detail, but it does look cool !! Bill in Montana K7MT
i not say this but..... used the same CODEPLUG of the handy 878 and i think have both APRS analogue & digital ! the big cont is that NOT have the separation front panel , hi !!! but have a wireless michrophone with a display , and this is a big plus in car ! 73 de IW2BSF Rudy
Not having remote head operation means that you won't have bad connection issues when the contacts get corroded. I may order this radio BECAUSE it has no remote head to complicate things in the future.
yes is NOT good a new radio (2019) with NO removable front panel , hi ! i think this at anytone ......more and more times , hi hi !!! But .... there is the very best plus of the BT that used the internal bluetooth of your car system ! 73
Further reading about this radio shows that there is an available BT mic that has an LCD screen and keys to control the entire radio. This pretty much negates the need for a removable faceplate.
It appears that the screen on the remote and the screen on actual radio are very nearly the same size. It is almost as it they are exactly the same, the radio screen is just slightly landscape and the remote screen slightly portrait.
