Not sure they QRZ page does not show anything. Only says more information coming. I worked them in FT8 on 20m as well as SSB on 20m and 40m
They have no internet access from the island. The Rebel DX group is posting updates here: https://www.rebeldxgroup.com/ Randy / WB9LUR
I got really spoiled with the recent DXped's that had the real-time or near real-time logs. But I have managed contacts with this one on 3 different bands so I guess at least one will probably stick! Love their story about the birds stealing the antennas
Worked these guys on 40m a few nights ago. Had a great signal into the west coast, and quite the pile-up.
They’re doing one helluva job considering conditions. I worked them with a wire on 20m SSB from Colorado on the 4th, and thank them for pulling me out of the pileup. I’m certain I was surrounded by much stronger signals.
There are only two operators, one does CW, the other SSB and FT8. Rather astounding accomplishments so far, given the propagation. I managed three CW band contacts and one additional band on SSB. I am not sure I would have done better had they been running more stations with more ops. That Japanese ham manning the key is one hell of a CW operator.
i was resigned to the fact I would only get them on FT8 - then I got them quickly before work this morning on 40m CW...
Finally squeezed one out on 17 M FT8 F/H mode. Thanx to The Patron Saint of poor Band condx and weak signals - Joe Taylor.
