Young Indian Student Received his first ISS SSTV Image & Award

    Dear Hams,

    My young harmonic VU3WHO Snehal Vagadia (14) and student of 8th grade from Rajkot - India, received his first ISS SSTV Image on 10th February 2019 at 5:33 AM (UTC).

    It was good ISS pass with 56 deg elevation, strong signal were received with 3 ele yagi on VHF HT tuned to 145.800 MHz. SSTV audio was recorded on smartphone & later decoded with MMSSTV. His operating clip can be viewed at:

    Was nice to see young generation keeps interest in radio experiments. Thanks to everyone supporting ARISS SSTV event.
