Obviously, If there wasn't any problem this legislation wouldn't exist in the first place.

LOTS of bad legislation gets pushed through (on the backs of good legislation). IMO, this is another piece of bad legislation; ARRL is hoping to increase its income but, saying so wouldn't look so good.

I don't own a pair, Chicken Little.

 

Start supporting your fellow ham radio brethren who live in HOA's.

You come across like you are anti-outdoor antenna even though you get to enjoy a nice outdoor ham radio tower and Yagi antenna yourself.

Sounds a lot like like a person who is a hypocrite to me...

Nope. Some alternatives that I've mentioned in many threads on many venues (that you've quoted) involve outdoor antennas. You just don't like them.

I'm someone who follows the rules, not someone who gets government to change them after the ink is dry.

...which is why I decided to NOT buy a property in a HOA. Other hams can (and do) make their own decisions, without waiting many years for government to (maybe) eventually step in.
