Join me on my 'best' activation yet!

Venturing out to LBJ National & State Parks located in Central Texas for the Parks on the Air/WWFF-KFF program.

Landed 155 SSB QSO's in only a few hours! Amazing! Knowledge about the program is certainly growing!

HF conditions after the X Flare dissipated were surprisingly good! The bands seemed open everywhere!

Agree, it got ugly again on the bands...

I think I was lucky enough to squeeze this in between two solar events. Completely by coincidence.

We saw the same with the Route 66 event this weekend--horrible conditions after the x flare event and then the bands (20/40) seem to go wide open--congrats on your efforts!

Thanks Jim, a few Rt. 66 guys actually reached out to me! How cool... Also got about 7 or 8 Ohio State Parks, and about 3 Park to Park on this one!
