This week I have actually two videos on the Baofeng DM-5Rhttps://*************************/e/ir?source=bk&t=hamradiorev07-20&bm-id=default&l=ktl&linkId=2af86bae845f0d14762003b8251e1a5a&_cb=1477564540482 radio. In the first video, I am going through the Baofeng DM-5Rhttps://*************************/e/ir?source=bk&t=hamradiorev07-20&bm-id=default&l=ktl&linkId=4a200c47da9477d204b3194ce08b68fd&_cb=1477565007884 programming software for the radio and in the second one, I am going through the DMR menus of the radio, particularly the Messages and Contacts and how they are used. Here they are, 73! _____________________________________________________________________ Ham Radio Reviews is my blog about amateur radio gear, reviews and more. Nice little videos. I was curious about how the Beogeng DMR worked. Thanks for sharing them. I probably wont get one just based on the splatter tests on the other Beofengs. If they were truly FCC compliant, they might be fun little backup radios. (oh and I'm basing that statement on ARRL reports from Dayton and others that document harmonics above tolerance all over the place.) I saw and understood exactly what was going on. I wish you had a second DMR radio for the 2nd video to actually show the send / recieve though.
Can't blame you. I have a second DMR radio. I am preparing video(s) testing compatibility etc. Thanks, 73!
