My Condolences.

I have just been informed that David Nadel KD2OY became a silent key on Wednesday March 4, 2015.

Biographical and funeral arrangements follow: David Neal Nadel, born July 30, 1921 in Brooklyn, died March 4, 2015 in Meadowbrook Hospice Care Center.

David was pre-deceased by his wife of 65 years, Phyllis. He is survived by his son, Hayden Mark Nadel, his granddaughter, Stephanie Nadel and his daughters-in-law, Debbie Nadel and Barbara Nadel.

David was a WWII Veteran and was on the beach in the Normandy Invasion.
He was an avid amateur radio operator, often spending hours a day conversing with people all over the world either by voice or through Morse Code.

The funeral will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Gutterman's Funeral Home, 175 North Long Beach Road, Rockville Centre, NY 11570.
Friends and family to gather at 11am, Chapel service at noon followed by burial at Beth Moses Cemetery in Farmingdale.
The family will be accepting Shiva condolences at their home 1384 Richmond Court, in East Meadow, NY immediately following the burial, and on Sunday, March 8 from Noon to 4pm.
