It is with great sorrow that I announce that Edward A Campbell KF5HY past away on Tuesday the 17th.
Ed was a good friend from church. And we often spoke about radios and our church.
Ed was a retired Houston Police officer and much loved in his community and church.

Edward Allen Campbell passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Webster, Texas.

He was born October 6, 1934 in Mt. Enterprise, Texas. He served his country in the United States Navy and served twenty-one years as a City of Houston Police Officer.

He loved Doris Campbell faithfully for 57 years. He was an amazing dad to Kelly, Keith and Kris. He was an adoring grandad to Justin, Jordan, Allann, Matthew, Keith Davis, Christian, Connor, Makinze, Karly and Corey. He was a wonderful great-grandad to Adlie and Emerson.
Ed was a positive man who loved many things in this life like airplanes, 1940’s music, Dr. Pepper, reading books about WWII history, HAM radio, his church (Sagemont Church – especially Stewart and Chuck’s class and also Jim Hasting’s Class), making breakfast for his family and creating all kinds of furniture.
Ed had many great character qualities but the best was his faith in Jesus. We all will miss him desperately but Ed is now with his Lord.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, and the service celebrating Ed’s life will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, February 19th
all held at Niday Funeral Home – Beamer Chapel.
