    Sadly, Lloyd, WA6ZZJ, one of our local ARES/RACES coordinators and good friend to all in the Prescott, AZ. area, lost his battle on Saturday (1 Nov 2014) with MDS and is SK. He did a lot in this area for the hobby and commitment to ARES/RACES, especially.

    Tonight (3 Nov. 2014) on the local ARES/RACES Nets (1830 & 1900 local) and on the local Skywarn Net, we paid a last tribute to him by making a 'Last Call', observing a moment of radio silence, and then at the end of the Net we all, in-turn (according to the Roll Call), 'kerchunked' the repeater once each in his honor.

    My personal condolences go out to his family, especially his daughter, Patti, KD7VBG.
