    Dixon M. Hilsabeck
    Beavercreek, OH

    HILSABECK, Dixon M. age 100, native of Missouri and longtime resident of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday June 12, 2012 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Margaret C. and son Robert J. He is survived by his two daughters, Elisabeth A. Soifer and Bonnie J. MacPherson, son-in- law Rob MacPherson, son William C. Hilsabeck and grandson Joey Watson.

    Mr. Hilsabeck was retired from the U.S. Air Force Laboratories at Wright Field where he served as a civilian Radio Engineer in the former Communication and Navigation Laboratory (C&N).

    He was a Life Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), The American Radio Relay League (ARRL), and the Dayton Amateur Radio Association (DARA). "He was also member of the local chapter 9 of the Quarter Century Wireless association (QCWA)."
