    I just learned today that my elmer, George Hawkins, passed away on March 24th. I am saddened and stunned to get this news.

    I last heard from him in January of this year. I have many fond and enduring memories of George ... his kindness, his patience and his generosity.

    Thank you for everything George - you helped me in ways that have shaped my entire life. Thank you.
