Valve (Tube) QRP Day

Valve QRP Day takes place on Sunday November 15 from 1600 until 2359z, the idea is to communicate using valve (tube) based equipment.

On the GQRP reflector Colin G3VTT writes

Just a reminder its the Valve QRP Day next week on Sunday 15th November from 1600 until 2359z on any of the QRP frequencies.

The idea is to communicate using valve equipment and you can use a valve (tube) transmitter, receiver or transceiver. Vintage QRO rigs throttled back to 5 watts or below are fine.

Remember it is not a contest. Why not try and send some slow CW if you are a bit shaky and the 'hot shots' can slow down for you. Not been on the air for a while? - then this is your chance to make a comeback!

Please send any reports, just a sentence or two, and any photographs to me at - g3vtt at aol.com - by November 20th.

There is a clash with the DL 'HOT' party but that will ensure plenty of contacts. Get those 'fils' glowing and see you next week.
