Default Repeater Coverage in Cades Cove TN ?

Probably a dumb question - but does anyone know if there's any repeater coverage in the Cades Cove area of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park?

I know it's surrounded by mountains so unless there's a repeater on one of those mountains, an HT or mobile VHF/UHF rig would be useless obviously.

There's nothing listing in the ARRL repeater directory for Cades Cove.

Also, we'll be staying in Maryville TN for several nights. Can anyone from that area suggest whether it'd be better to bring my 2meter HT or my 440 HT. I don't really want to bring both. There seems to be about three 2m repeaters and five or so 440 repeaters listed for Maryvill but I have no way of knowing if any of them are active or not.
ly.

This might be a good place to start looking.

Thank you, but I already have an up-to-date repeater directory and already know about that web site, as well as the information from SERA.

What I was trying to find out was actually practical coverage within a specific geographic area that is surrounded by mountains, and actual activity levels on the local repeaters. That's information that really has to come first-hand accounts.

Anyway, I did get a couple of PMs with the information I was looking for.

Thanks anyway. 73
