I pretty much agree. What a waste of time that petition is. He is pissed about DX clusters. The whole cluster system is broken.

Maybe he should start his own private spotting service with authentication.

That petition will go right to the land fill.

Yeah. The DX clusters are a cluster sometimes!
So who cares? It is what it is. Mentally filter out the BS and use what good info you can find.
I had to laugh last night watching the spots and trying to hear XR0Y on 80. Someone in a spot said that they (XR0Y) had bad static condx or high QRN there to deal with...Gee...so who doesn't on 80 half the time?? I sure do!
I never read the announcements that people can post.

K6VVA has way too much time on his hands. Perfect example of a true "washer women".

He obviously doesn't realize many of the people posting spots/comments on the clusters using bogus callsigns are not even in the USA. Therefore, the matter is out of FCC jurisdiction. Take a look at all the misspellings & the strange sentence structure (typical of someone who's first language isn't English) on the bogus cluster spots for proof.

He should have filled two more nincompoop related petitions for the TRUE WASHER WOMEN trifecta of FCC petitioning:

1. People Using Bogus Callsigns on the Clusters. (check, already done)

2. Petition Which asks Amateur's Must use Only True & Real Signal Reports.

3. Petition Which asks the new Power Limit should be 100 Watts.

I'm sure the FCC will take this one up right away.

Funnier yet, is that he uses his membership in Infragard as some sort of credential. The best he could do is list the spots. No mention of where they originated nor the originating IP address. He really has nothing of substance in there.

Some people just have to much time on their hands and resort to desperate measures to fill in the time.
