Dunno, it works for me. I hardly have any time for the net anymore.

For what it's worth, my daughter (now age 16) and her friends have all said for years that the stuff smells horrid and they want nothing to do with anyone who uses it. Sounds more like a YL repellent to me. Hmmm....maybe it was invented by a guy with teenage daughters?

I have a 16 year old daughter...soon to be 17.

She has 3 brothers that are enough repellent to keep them guys away.

Guys and their ignorance...forever looking for the magical potion that will get them action, but the sad truth is they won't get any simply because they themselves are gyno-repellent.

Although...

Giving a woman a brand new Mercedes convertible usually works.

Default Ax the Axe...

I have a nephew that "discovered" that stuff when he was about 14 or15. My wife point blank told him that A) he used way too much and B) no matter how much he does use, it stinks. Our mission at Christmas that year was to find him some cologne that was not quite as offensive. We bought him some "Cool Water" plus told him that "a little dab will do ya". Success. He ditched the Axe and has since been much more pleasant when in the "body spray" mode.

I also deal with h.s. band students and at times after games it seems a few of the boys decided that stuff was the answer to their issues. (Really a shower was the answer but let's talk about Axe) They decided the instrument storage room was the place to dispense this stuff. Way too much. When I went to inspect why many students were exiting that room quickly I found out as the wave of aroma that is Axe hit me. I found the one who thought if "a little is good then a lot is better" and told him he smelled like a cow pen. That brought laughter and as you might expect the typical teenager reply of, "uh, so". That was the last time we had an Axe problem at school...plus all of the girls started telling the boys they stunk when they wear that stuff. The female persuasion is strong...stronger than Axe.

Phew....

Axe is the closest thing to Turpentine that you can put on your body. I worked with a guy who was cheap. He and a few friends noticed I was wearing cologne, so they went out and bought Axe. When he first wore it, it smelled like paint remover. He then proudly tells me he spent a lot on it. How much is a LOT? A whole $5. I mentioned that the cologne I bought was $75. He didn't believe me.

Now you're wondering what is the difference between $5 Axe and $75 Cologne.

Axe is offensive. It can actually cause an allergic reaction. Or worse, it can make someone have an asthmatic reaction. Because of this, he was told to stop wearing it. Also girls would run when they whiffed him. FAST!

The higher priced cologne was made in Europe, was tested by 3 asthmatics at my job and none had a reaction. I always had tons of girls coming my way. Some would stick around for the night. Remember, the cologne only gets you in the door. The rest is up to you.

When it comes to fragrances, you almost always get what you pay for.
