SS CW is coming up in LESS THAN 48 hours... WOW!

Who's all going to get on? I'll be operating!

SS is a wonderful contest that is "domestic only," so no DXing required.

I'll get on and fool around, although I don't have time to compete in it, which is great fun for those who can.

I like that SS CW and Phone are two separate weekends so those who don't like it can just switch modes and operate all weekend without even realizing a contest is going on.

Lots of road kill for you around here this time of year. If you run out, you could sit on your porch and yell at kids to get off your lawn.

I'm going to do a part time effort. Just too much to do around here. Besides, I like DX contests better.

DX contests don't do it for me, with possible exception of WPX. At least SN's make the exchange variable and somewhat challenging. That's why I like SS and most state QP's.

I'll be troubleshooting my RFI problems tonight in order to make the XYL happy (Damn I hate WoW online) so I can participate all day tomorrow...
