I am only the second owner of this radio and neither of us are smokers. It has been lightly used for 14 years and is little worse for the wear. The only defects I can find are #1, the lettering by the volume control knob is starting to fade a little and there is a very light scuff on the top of the readout that is almost completely invisible during use. Everything works like new!
The optional CTCSS unit #FTS-17A was installed 05/10/95

I will take $120.00 plus shipping costs anywhere in the lower 48 states. I also have the original Owner's Manual.

After replacing the 2400H with a 7900 R I need to sell the 2400H so I will drop the price to $100.00 firm + shipping
