Hi,
I need to know some things so there is no mis-understandings.
When was this bought, how many owners.

have you ever keyed a amp with the flex and, how is the darling transistor (major issue)
The darlington transistor is used to key the relay on the newer linears.
They will blow real quick as I found out on my flex!
If you don't know, please check with a ohm meter from the back of the db-9 connector. If this is blown, It would be a major fix from flex.

What is the serial number please.

Any known issues.
Thank you

Default Flex 5000A Amp Keying

Thought I would jump in and give my two cents worth. I read on the Flex Radio site that they would not cover those darlington transistors under warranty if they go bad because of too heavy a load from some Amp keying inputs. I use an Ameritron amplifier and to be on the safe side, I got the Ameritron AR-702 interface which draws very little current from those darlington transistors. I hope yours were not damaged since sometimes an ohm meter may show strange readings.
