I dont believe it. Dallas W3PP was one of my closest friends. Worked him many times from C6 qth. He lived abt 40miles N of me and had worked from his qth many times. I knew the others also and am proud to have known them. The ham world has lost some of the greatest.
My prayers and thoughts are with their families in this time of great loss. I recall working these guys on 6m back in 2006. They were my first VHF "DX" contact on 6m. Prior to the QSO, all my 6m Q's were stateside, so for me, at that time, this contact was a big deal and still brings back memories of that first VHF DX. I've collected their cards over the years and I'm so sorry to hear this news.....
Those are very sad news.Worked them many times on CQWW ans ARRL tests...May they rest in peace and be remembered in this family that is Ham Radio.
My condolences to families and friends.
Mike, CT1IUA
Randy K4QO was a close friend of mine. He recently helped me design my OCF dipole at my new QTH and sent me a homemade balun for 10-80 meters. I'm very proud to say I was his friend. Please keep all of these hams in your thoughts and prayers, and for Randy's wife Shellie W4AAV.
CQ WW will be different not spotting my friends at C6APR this year.
