Am I missing something

Here we are at 9/11 again

I do not see any pictures of our dear President being burnt, stomped on or degraded in the Middle East buy our Arab friends

So they do not think of him as the evil one or the Devil like G. Bush was

Do we want them to be stomping on pictures of Americans, or was the idea to get beyond that?

Personally, I don't think that it's OK for grown men to do such stupid things, but that's my opinion.

Then again, my position is that we need to flood the Middle East with chocolate, porn, and X-Boxes. Problem solved.

a. The US should stop supporting dictators, as in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, for three easy examples.

b. We should apply pressure on Israel to settle the Palestinian question by returning to pre-1967 borders and the 'two-state' solution.

c. We should talk to anybody (yes, ANYBODY) who is willing to talk with us.

d. We should initiate significant cultural and educational exchanges, especially bringing students to the US and American students to the Middle East.

e. Thru the various international agencies we should shift our foreign aid from governments directly to local NGO's and the people.

f, We should begin a serious, long-term, and permanent program to reduce the flow of imported oil dependence.

We do half of that already, letting students into the US, and since they come here to study does that mean their schools might not be as good if so, why send students there. Plus if you sent female students would they have to walk 6 step behind a male,and where the burka all the time, not drive, watch tv and the big one not make a political statement.

Sounds like the bussing idea from back in 70's to make the public schools so called equal.
