Post TS570DG v's TS940S

Which radio would you rather have in the shack given the choice of these two afore-mentioned sets?

Wink

Both sweet rigs!

940 cost 3 times the 570 when both were new. But unless you can repair and maintain the rigs yourself? go for the 570. It's newer. Way less problems. The 570 is a almost perfect rig. If it had IF DSP, She maybe as close to perfect as it get's. I have had a 940 for 10 years and have made only one repair. But it's aging fast. My 570 is 7yrs old, and perfect. All in all, a good 940 with no issues is A Great rig. If I were you get them both!!

Default Hard choice

Wow I have them both. If I had to sell one it would be Hmmm, I would keep them and sell my 450 Kenwood. They are both great. If I was to buy one today it would be the 570. Newer technology and never any problems.
