I've had a 910H for nearly two years and I love it. I use it into the satellites (AO-51 & AO-16) as well as more conventional repeater work around the southern half of the state. I use a Cushcraft A627013s multiband for both the satellite and repeater work. The ability to adjust the power from 5 Watts to 100(2mtr) often comes in handy. Running high power into the birds is considered poor op habits and isn't really necessary. Yet those repeaters out there aways sometimes need a bit of RF to get into.
I generally don't use the satellite function when operating as the FM birds don't require the transmit frequency to follow the doppler shift. Once we get some new birds up we may find one or more are SSB and will require this convenient feature. I use the split function much as one would operate on the HF bands and just adjust the receive freq as the bird moves through it's pass. This becomes a real treat when working AO-16 as the downlink is UHF SSB and the doppler really has you running trying to keep up
The rig is not really difficult to figure out. The manual is fairly straightforward, and operating is a pleasure. The ability to install a mast mounted preamp that is controlled by the rig is a real joy and makes my mediocre antenna functional at 440Mhz. The ability to use Ham Radio Deluxe as Computer Control is an added feature.
I've yet to find a reason to regret buying the rig.
