Default Phased Double V Antenna for 75/80 Meters

If you have lots of room, here is a phased double inverted V low cost antenna for 75/80 meter band.

Good for DX and local work as well. SWR less than 2.3 across the entire 75/80 meter band.

Nice article and well written. The only reference (nit pick if you will) I would rephrase is the term "hydro pole" in the diagram. Being originally from Ontario myself "I" understand exactly what this means however from my experience living here over the years amongst Americans, I doubt the majority of them viewing the article would understand it. I have used the reference "hydro service" (Public Utility Elecric Service) in the past and most of them don't understand what it is. Some people actually thinks it refers to my water service and I suspect using metal poles to suspend the antenna at the ends might affect the antenna's overall performance.

Perhaps this "hydro pole" would be viewed as a specialized and hard to find piece of equipment.

Otherwise it's a great well thought out antenna article and I enjoyed reading it. It contained a good deal of excellent technical information. I would most likely highly recommend it myself.

My Best,
