Fred Atkinson, WB4AEJ writes "I have written a 'How-To' article telling how to set up your callsign as a domain on the Internet (http://www.wb4aej.com, http://www.wa4zzq.net, or http://www.k4lrg.org, etc.) for very little cost.

It can be viewed at http://www.mishmash.com/hamdomain.
Please read the article. If you are already running a Web site or have over experience with site management or HTML, I would love to hear your comments.
I have been running my own Web site for quite a few years. I also have a good deal of education/training in this area. I won't claim to be an expert, but I think you'll find that my article is written in the way of 'Heathkit' (just follow the instructions to put it together, you don't have to know how it works) so that even the most basic ham/computer user can do this.
What prompted me to write this article was the case of N7QVC. There is a link in the article that takes you to the 'what_happened.htm' on his site. In short, he almost lost the right to use his call sign on the Internet.
I hope to hear from some of you. fatkinson@mishmash.com"
